30 January 2008 Talent Group plc ("Talent Group", "Talent" or "the Company") AGM Statement Chairman Elect's Statement

At the AGM held at 11.00am today the Board made the following statement on behalf of Terry Bate, the Chairman Elect.

"After recently acquiring the majority of Bob Benton's shares and before joining the Board, I want to say how much I am looking forward to taking a more active role in the future development and growth of Talent Group plc and working with old friends.

Whilst the company has a strong on-going slate of creative developments, I believe shareholders would benefit from it broadening its portfolio. As such, I will be supporting a restructuring and refinancing of the business so that we can bring in new blood to enable the company to compete across more genres of content creation and delivery.

As the business refocuses, we will also be mindful of potential corporate activity. Difficult periods, such as have been experienced by the UK television industry over the past twelve months, often result in unexpected business opportunities. With the right support, Talent Group plc as a small listed company is well positioned to take advantage of such opportunities.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Bob Benton for his long standing contribution as Chairman and also to Annie Miles who, as planned for some time, will today be standing down from the board prior to leaving the company in the near future to pursue other interests. I would like to wish them both well for the future and reassure them that the company will remain fully committed to those shows developed and produced during their time here."
