GUS PLC20 June 2006 GUS plc ("THE COMPANY") DIRECTORS' INTERESTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE GUS PLC PERFORMANCE SHARE PLAN In June 2003 the Company made awards under its Performance Share Plan todirectors with such awards taking the form of a deferred right to acquire sharesat no cost to the participant. The vesting of such awards is subject toperformance conditions and the conditions in respect of this award have now beensatisfied. The holdings for Terry Duddy, Don Robert and David Tylerrepresent 0.04%, 0.03% and 0.04% respectively. Notifications of these transactions were received by the Company on 20 June 2006and were made in accordance with DR 3.1.4R(1)(b).
