Exploration Update

Golden Saint Resources ("GSR") is pleased to announce that the limited heavy mineral sampling programme recently completed by GSR on the Tongo licence (EL 9611) in eastern Sierra Leone and processed by Diatech Heavy Mineral Services ("Diatech") in Perth, Western Australia, has produced several "samples of interest for diamond exploration". Initially, these samples were identified as interesting by their morphology but the follow up microprobe analysis of the morphologically anomalous samples supports this view.

Diatech sent 443 mixed grains (from the 80 samples submitted by GSR for heavy mineral analysis) for a standard oxide microprobing. The grains were representative of the concentrate samples received from GSR. The purpose was two-fold:

· Confirm the identity of any mantle derived grains (i.e. those from kimberlite).

· Confirm the identity of other grains (which were mainly Cr-spinel) thought to be derived from other sources.

Three kimberlitic picroilmenite grains and a small number of Cr-spinel grains were confirmed and identified as warranting follow up. The remainder of the Cr-spinel confirmed are derived from non-kimberlitic greenstone belt source rocks that may possibly be prospective for gold.

Of the Cr-spinel analyses, samples 13TOPT32, 13TOPT55 and 13TOPT59 (+60% Cr2O3) are considered the most favourable by Diatech. However, it is suspected that the tropical weathering may be stripping out the MgO and adding to the iron content thereby altering the original chemistry.

Wardell Armstrong International ("WAI"), recently appointed as technical advisor, is currently reviewing the GSR licences and is compiling all the results to date, including regional data made available. The anomalous samples from the limited heavy mineral sampling programme on the Tongo licence are shown in Figure 1 attached, which also illustrates the geological setting, results and regional trends.

WAI consider that should there be any diamondiferous kimberlite bodies within the Tongo licence area, these are likely to be narrow, kimberlite dykes similar to those found on adjacent properties to the west and to the north of the GSR Tongo licence, as shown in Figure 1 above. This known dyke swarm may extend into the northern section of the Tongo licence and is therefore considered prospective ground (Prospective Corridor "A"). A grouping of anomalous kimberlite indicator mineral samples (as shown in Figure 1) to the south of the Tongo licence area defines a second potentially prospective corridor (Prospective Corridor "B").

Following these initial studies, an on-going exploration programme for the more immediately prospective northern portion of the Tongo licence has been developed. The work programme envisages a relatively closely spaced grid that will be mapped geologically and subjected to "loaming", a continuous sampling technique that optimises the chances of identifying any narrow, kimberlite dykes.

This work will proceed despite the current Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone using GSR's in country team. All the necessary precautions will be taken to mitigate any health and safety risk to the work force. The proposed exploration programme will advance GSR's geological understanding of the licence area and provides employment for the local population, thereby demonstrating GSR's commitment to its projects in Sierra Leone.
