Amitsoq and AAM Pilot Plant Update

GreenRoc Strategic Materials Plc (AIM: GROC), a company focused on the development of critical mineral projects in Greenland, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary company, GreenRoc DK a/s, has signed an advisory services agreement (the "Agreement") with the European Investment Bank ("EIB") under which the EIB will provide independent advisory support to help advance the Amitsoq graphite mine and planned active anode material ("AAM") processing project towards financing readiness. The Company has also received approval from the Government of Greenland for its field programme, consisting of Phase III drilling at Amitsoq in South Greenland. At the Company's pilot plant for active anode material, the team has successfully installed and commissioned the laboratory facilities required for quality assessment of graphite products.

The Company is also pleased to announce a webinar to discuss recent progress and developments with CEO Stefan Bernstein. The webinar will be hosted live via the Company's website on Friday 26 June 2026 at 12:00 GMT, and both existing and prospective investors are invited to submit their questions in advance. Sign up for the webinar and submit your questions for the management team here:

Highlights

· GreenRoc DK a/s has signed the Agreement with the EIB for EIB to provide, at no cost, independent advisory support for the Amitsoq graphite mine and AAM processing project.

· EIB-backed support will cover market analysis, technical-economic review, business plan assessment and financial modelling.

· The Government of Greenland has approved GreenRoc's Phase III drilling programme at Amitsoq, planned to start at the end of June 2026.

· Initial test work has begun on graphite ore from the 18-tonne bulk sample, with a 300kg subsample sent to SGS Lakefield in Canada.

· The AAM pilot plant has now processed around 700kg of 95% graphite concentrate into spherical graphite across seven test runs.

· New analytical laboratory equipment has been installed and commissioned, enabling faster quality assessment of product particle size, density and impurity levels.

· GreenRoc will host an investor webinar with CEO Stefan Bernstein on Friday 26 June 2026 to discuss recent progress and developments.

Advisory Services Agreement with InvestEU Advisory Hub of the European Investment Bank ("EIB")

On June 11, 2026, the Greenroc DK a/s signed an Advisory Services Agreement with the EIB InvestEU Advisory. The EIB InvestEU Advisory, will provide independent advisory services to support the Greenroc's graphite mining and AAM project, through external consultants, covering market analysis, technical and financial reviews, business plan assessment, fundraising strategy and investor documentation.

The Bank's support will consist of:

• Market Study (full updated analysis)

• Bankability focused technical-economic review of the Amitsoq mine and the AAM processing plant, identifying key assumptions, risks and gaps relevant to DFS and investors.

• Review of the business plan to ensure coherence between technical, market and financial assumptions and to support investment readiness.

• Review and enhancement of the project's financial framework, including the development of a bank standard integrated financial model.

• Assessment of staged financing needs and preparation of a high-level fundraising strategy.

• Support for the preparation of equity-oriented investor documentation and, on a best effort basis, facilitation of contacts with potential investors and off takers.

The facility is provided through the InvestEU Advisory Hub which is to provide advisory support to public and private project promoters within the European Union for the identification, preparation, development, structuring, procuring and implementation of investment projects, and for enhancing the capacity of project promoters and financial intermediaries to implement financing and investment operations.

GreenRoc's Amitsoq programme

The Phase III drilling programme, planned to start at the end of June 2026 (RNS 28 May 2026), has now received approval from the Government of Greenland. With regard to the processing of the 18-tonne bulk sample of graphite ore collected in the autumn of 2025, a 300kg subsample has been sent to toSGS Lakefield, Canada, which is considered to be one of the most experienced process engineering firms in the world with respect to graphite, for initial test work to obtain crushing and grinding parameters and to test a variety of flotation techniques. These tests are important for the Pre-Feasibility Study planned to start by the end of 2026 and will also provide technical details for the eventual extraction of graphite concentrate from the 18-tonne main bulk sample.

GreenRoc's AAM pilot plant

The team at GreenRoc's pilot plant has now successfully processed about 700kg of 95% graphite concentrate into spherical graphite. In total, seven test runs, each using 100kg of starting material, have been spheronised, with product quality being enhanced during the test runs by the making of certain operational refinements and adjustments to the plant.

The pilot plant's analytical facility is now complete, with the installation and commissioning of a Malvern Mastersizer laser instrument to measure particle size distribution, a tap density instrument and a SciAps LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) instrument to measure impurities in spheronised, purified graphite (see Figure 1). The LIBS instrument has outperformed expectations in terms of detection limits and reproducibility. Following work with specialists from SciAps, researchers from the Technical University of Denmark ("DTU") and engineering consultant IPU, the instrument setup at GreenRoc's laboratory can now routinely measure impurities in graphite down to tens of ppm (parts per million) for elements including Mg, Al, Si, Ca, Ti, Cr, Fe and Cu. The analytical setup provides fast and inexpensive quality assessment of the purity of the products from the Company's ongoing test programme with DTU and IPU as part of the EU-Graphite project funded by EUDP (RNS 15 December 2025).

GreenRoc's CEO, Stefan Bernstein, commented:

"This is an important period of progress for GreenRoc. The Agreement with EIB provides valuable independent support as we continue to advance Amitsoq and our active anode material strategy. At the same time, the approval of our Phase III drilling programme in Greenland, the start of bulk sample test work and the continuing progress at our AAM pilot plant all represent important practical steps in de-risking the project and strengthening our technical foundation. I look forward to updating shareholders further at our upcoming investor webinar."

About GreenRoc

GreenRoc Strategic Materials Plc is an AIM-quoted UK public company focused on developing the Amitsoq Graphite Project in Greenland into a producing mine to meet critical demand from Electric Vehicle ('EV') manufacturers in Europe and North America for new, high grade and conflict-free sources of graphite.

Amitsoq is one of the highest-grade graphite deposits in the world with a combined Measured, Indicated and Inferred JORC Resource of 23.05 million tonnes (Mt) at an average grade of 20.41% graphite, sufficient to sustain more than 20 years of mining. GreenRoc received an Exploitation Licence from the Government of Greenland in December 2025, valid for 30 years.

The plans for the Amitsoq Project include the construction of a facility to further process the mined graphite into active anode material ("AAM") - an indispensable component of Li-ion batteries - and these plans have been independently and positively evaluated to pre-feasibility study stage.

The Amitsoq Project was designated a Strategic Project by the EU in June 2025. The Project has also been ESG-certified by Digbee™, an independent platform which provides sustainability assessments for the mining industry.

In October 2025, GreenRoc signed a binding secured loan facility for EUR 5.2 million from the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark ("EIFO"), for the financing of the Company's work programme at Amitsoq and the AAM pilot plant.

In December 2025, GreenRoc, together with its consortium partners DTU and IPU, was awarded up to DKK 10,448,826 (c. £1.2m) by the Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme ("EUDP"), a Danish government funding programme, for the project entitled "EU-Graphite: Building European production of graphite active anode material".
