DIRECTORATE CHANGE 

GoldStone Resources Ltd ("GoldStone" or the "Company") announces that Sir Michael Oliver, Chairman of GoldStone, has today retired from the Board of Directors of the Company.

Sir Michael's leadership of the Board since the Company's admission to AIM in March 2004 is greatly appreciated and the Company wishes him all the best for the future. 

Following Sir Michael's resignation, the Board is to be reconstituted. With effect from today Mr. Nico van der Hoven, currently Chief Executive, is to act as non-executive Chairman of the Board and Mr. Jurie Wessels, the Company's Financial Director, is appointed Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Hendrik Schloemann will remain as Director of Exploration and New Business Development. In order to save costs no further appointments will be made to the Board at this time and Mr. Wessels will continue to fulfil the duties of Financial Director and Company Secretary.
