Update on debt financing
Further to its First Quarter update detailing GRID's ambitions for 2020, the Board confirms that GRID is assessing options to raise debt finance, in accordance with its investment policy, to facilitate the acquisition of new battery storage projects.
The Company will provide further information in due course once it has approved the form that any debt financing will take.
GRID's previously communicated plans include commissioning a further 190MW of battery storage in 2020, increasing total capacity to 364MW by the end of this year.
