Goldenport Holdings Inc ('Goldenport' or the 'Company'), (LSE: GPRT) notes recent press comments concerning its London listing.
The Board continues to monitor the significant discount to NAV at which the shares of the Company trade, and regularly reviews strategic options to narrow this discount: seeking an additional listing on an exchange other than London is an option which the Board has considered and continues so to do; however, the Company confirms that it has no current intention of cancelling the London listing.
Similarly the Company continues to review a wide range of accretive vessel acquisition opportunities. In order to retain financial flexibility, the Board continues to review its financing options, which may include debt, the use of cash reserves or the issue of further equity if this is considered to be in the best interests of shareholders. Any decision on future capital raising will be taken as and when the opportunity arises.
