10 February 2009 GEONG International Limited ('GEONG' or 'the Company') New Contract Wins

GEONG International Limited (AIM: GNG), the AIM listed, China based provider of enterprise content management (ECM) software and solutions, is pleased to announce that it signed new contracts to the value of RMB 11.48m (£1.15m) in January 2009.

These contracts include a further consulting contract with a leading Telecoms solutions supplier worth RMB 8.16m (£0.82m) and a contract with the Rural Bank of Shangdong to help it build a new core banking system. Valued at RMB2.98M (£0.3m) this is the third contract with the Rural Bank of Shandong that GEONG has signed within this financial year.

The Company expects to recognise approximately 30% of these contracts within the current financial year ending 31 March 2009.

Commenting on the contract wins Weidong Wang, Chief Executive of GEONG said: "GEONG has consistently signed contracts with Chinese Telecoms and Financial Services organisations totaling in excess of £1m on a monthly basis. These January contract wins demonstrate that, despite the downturn in the global economy, demand for our products and services remains as strong as ever."
