23 June 2009 GEONG International Limited ("GEONG" or "the Company") Board Changes

GEONG International Limited (AIM: GNG), the China based provider of enterprise content management (ECM) software and solutions, is pleased to announce a significant strengthening of its Board of Directors. The restructuring is aimed at bolstering GEONG's corporate governance and improving its profile as a UK listed Company. All changes described below will be effective as of 23 June 2009.

Stuart Christopher Lane (aged 59) joins the Board as non-executive Director. Stuart is an experienced financial adviser with an established reputation for advising the boards of quoted and private companies. Stuart has been lead adviser to the board of many successful IPOs and other transactions. Over recent years he has gained extensive experience with Asian, and particularly Chinese, companies.

After graduating from Edinburgh University Stuart was a Captain in the British Army and subsequently served as Secretary to a number of Cabinet and other Ministers within the British Government. He has worked in the City for 25 years holding senior executive and director positions at Cazenove & Co, Beeson Gregory Limited, Collins Stewart Limited and Seymour Pierce Limited.

His Directorships during the past 5 years are: Heltrioni Trading and Investments Limited (November 4 2005 to October 5 2006), Postfuhramt Oranienburgerstr. Gmbh (November 4 2005 to October 5 2006) Seymour Pierce Limited (July 1 2004 to April 3 2009), Shigo Asia AG (appointed member of Supervisory Board 26 May 2009 to present).

In addition, Amit Navinchandra Thakar, CFO of GEONG, is appointed to the Board as an Executive Director. Amit (aged 54) joined GEONG as CFO earlier this month as detailed in the announcement released 1 June 2009. Mr. Thakar has an interest in a total of 5,000 Ordinary Shares in GEONG, representing approximately 0.00016% of the Company's issued share capital of 31,537,032 Ordinary Shares.

As a result of these additions to the Board, Peter Williamson and Bo Yuan will both step down from their roles as Non-Executive Directors of GEONG and Henry Tse will become Non-executive Chairman, having previously acted as Executive Chairman.

Wang Weidong, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "I am confident that the changes we are making to the Board of GEONG will enhance the quality of our corporate governance and in doing this we are demonstrating our commitment to our UK shareholders.

"I am delighted to welcome an executive of Stuart's calibre to the Board of GEONG. Stuart's credentials in corporate business development are outstanding and he brings with him a wealth of experience in the UK financial markets. As a result of this, I believe Stuart can play a central part in taking GEONG to the next stage of growth.

"I am further delighted to welcome Amit, our recently signed CFO, to the GEONG Board. Amit's knowledge of UK and Asian companies and markets, acquired in his various roles of equity analyst, economist and accountant, will prove invaluable to GEONG going forward.

"Finally, I would like to thank both Peter and Yuan for their commitment and dedication to GEONG over the years. During their time on the Board, GEONG has witnessed sustained growth in revenues and profitability, and Peter and Yuan's strategic guidance has formed an important role in this achievement."

There are no other matters which are required to be announced with regard to this appointment under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
