Notification of Successful Share Placing by TIHL at $19.50 per GDR

Globaltrans Investment PLC ("Globaltrans" or the "Company" and together with its consolidated subsidiaries, the "Group"; LSE ticker: GLTR), a leading private freight rail transportation group with operations in Russia, the CIS and the Baltic countries, has been informed by its shareholder Transportation Investments Holding Limited ("TIHL") that it has successfully completed a Placing of 10,256,411 existing shares of the Company owned by it (the "Placing") in the form of global depositary receipts ("GDRs").

The successful Placing amounts to 5.74% of Globaltrans' outstanding ordinary share capital. The GDRs were placed by way of an accelerated private placement process with international institutional investors on a Reg S basis, and to US QIBs on a 144A basis, at a price of $19.50, representing an aggregate value of approximately $200 million.

Following the Placing, TIHL remains Globaltrans' single largest shareholder with a holding equivalent to 34.5% of the Company's ordinary share capital.

TIHL has made clear its intention to remain a long-term strategic investor in the Group and that the proceeds from Placing will be used to pursue other investment opportunities in Russia.
