Transaction in Own Shares
Gulf Keystone, a leading independent operator and producer in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announces that on 20 May 2024, it purchased 361,351 common shares of US$1.00 each in the Company ("Shares") on the London Stock Exchange through Peel Hunt LLP in accordance with the terms of its share buyback programme announced on 13 May 2024 (the "Buyback Programme").

The repurchased Shares will be cancelled. Following the cancellation of the repurchased Shares, the Company will have 221,642,741 Shares in issue, with no Shares held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of Shares carrying voting rights will be 221,642,741.
The above figure of 221,642,741 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
