Greatland Gold commences first exploration campaign at Black Hills

Geochemical sampling and geological mapping at Black Hills to outline potential drill targets

Further to the announcement of 21 May 2018, Greatland Gold plc (LON:GGP), the precious and base metals exploration and development Company, is pleased to announce that it has commenced its first exploration campaign at the Company's 100% owned Black Hills licence in the Paterson region of Western Australia.

Greatland's first exploration campaign at Black Hills, which includes plans for surface geochemical sampling and geological mapping, is designed to determine the areas with the greatest potential for high-grade gold mineralisation and to outline potential drill targets.

A recent review of historic data highlighted the potential for high-grade, near-surface gold mineralisation at several prospects throughout the Black Hills licence including Saddle Reefs, Eastern, Rogers and Northern Granites (see announcement dated 21 May 2018).

Gervaise Heddle, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "We are very pleased to commence Greatland's first exploration campaign at Black Hills. Black Hills represents a compelling exploration opportunity for the Company with the potential for several zones of high-grade, near-surface gold mineralisation.
