Non-Executive Director Appointment

Genuit Group plc ("Genuit", the "Company" or the "Group"), a leading provider of sustainable water and climate management solutions for the built environment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shatish Dasani as a Non-Executive Director and Audit Chair Designate with effect from 1 March 2023, and Audit Committee Chair with effect from 7 March 2023. Shatish will also be a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committees.

Shatish Dasani is an experienced former FTSE Chief Financial Officer and current Audit Committee Chair of UK publicly listed companies, with a career in financial roles spanning over 30 years. He was previously Chief Financial Officer of TT Electronics plc, a global manufacturer of electronic components and Forterra plc, a manufacturer of building products for the UK construction industry. Mr Dasani was previously Non-Executive Director of Camelot Group plc and Public Member at Network Rail, and his historic and current experience within the construction industry, manufacturing, and engineering sectors as well as finance experience brings further invaluable knowledge, experience and skills to the Board.

Mr Dasani is currently Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee of Renew Holdings plc, and Non-Executive Director and Audit & Risk Committee Chair of SIG plc and Speedy Hire plc, all listed on the London Stock Exchange. He is also a Trustee and Board Chair at UNICEF UK, the children's charity. He was previously an executive director of Forterra plc from 2015, which listed on the London Stock Exchange in April 2016, and he held this role until December 2019. There are no other publicly listed companies in which Mr Dasani has held directorships in the last five years. There is no other information concerning Mr Dasani which requires notification under LR9.6.13R of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
