Transaction in Own Shares

Gem Diamonds Limited announces that on 28 April 2022 it purchased 17,563 of its ordinary shares from Liberum Capital Limited (acting as the Company's broker) on the London Stock Exchange at an average price of 61.38 pence per share, as part of the Company's buyback programme announced on 12 April 2022. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 364,320 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 140,344,818.
