Grupo Clarin S.A.15 January 2008 Grupo Clarin S.A. announces the acquisition of a 51% interest in CarburandoS.A.P.I.C.A.F.I., Mundo Show S.A. and Mundo Show TV S.A. by its subsidiary IESA S.A. Grupo Clarin S.A. notified the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange that on 11 January2008, it had acquired 51% of the issued and outstanding capital stock and votesof Carburando S.A.P.I.C.A.F.I., Mundo Show S.A. and Mundo Show TV S.A. throughits subsidiary Inversora de Eventos S.A. ("IESA") from the holders of 100% ofshares of the referred companies. The total price agreed for the acquired stockis US$ 9,486,000. The main activity of these companies is the production of media content relatedwith automobile competition and races (including the broadcasting of car races,qualification races and specialised television shows) as well as the marketingof related advertisement.
