Grupo Clarin S.A.18 January 2008 GRUPO CLARIN S.A. Notification of Change in Voting Rights and Composition of Holding of Voting Rights Grupo Clarin S.A. was informed on 11 January 2008 that one of its controllingshareholders, Mr. Hector Horacio Magnetto, has reallocated his holdings of GrupoClarin S.A. as described below (the "Reallocation"). The Reallocation involves the transfer of all Class B Shares of Grupo Clarin andall shares of GC Dominio S.A. (holder of all Class A Shares of Grupo ClarinS.A.) held by Mr. Hector Horacio Magnetto to the HHM - Grupo Clarin New YorkTrust, of which Mr. Hector Horacio Magnetto is beneficiary. The total voting rights of Mr. Hector Horacio Magnetto remain unchanged as aresult of the Reallocation, but the direct voting rights of Mr. Hector HoracioMagnetto have decreased. The Company understands from Mr. Hector Horacio Magnetto that the transfer tothe trust is part of a restructuring of his direct and indirect personalinterest in Grupo Clarin S.A., to be carried out in several stages, whichcommenced in December 2007 and will continue throughout 2008. The Company hasbeen informed that the Reallocation has no economic effects or effects on thevoting structure of Grupo Clarin S.A., and that the Reallocation does notinvolve and is not intended as a preparation for, any change in the ultimateholding and control structure of Grupo Clarin S.A.
