Offer for Sale shares in Sibir Energy Plc ("Sibir") on behalf of JSC Gazprom Neft ("Gazprom Neft") closed
Renaissance Securities (Cyprus) Limited ("Renaissance Capital") announces that it has successfully closed its invitation to offer for sale shares in Sibir on behalf of Gazprom Neft.
Following closing and settlement of today's invitation to offer for sale, Gazprom Neft expects to increase its stake by approximately 10.6% of the outstanding shares in Sibir, which along with its existing holding of approximately 16.9% acquired on 23 April, will bring its total stake to approximately 27.5%.
Sibir is listed on AIM (Ticker: SBE:LN). The shares are currently suspended and Renaissance Capital makes no representation as to the accuracy or completeness of public information regarding Sibir.
