TRADING STATEMENT AND NOTICE OF RESULTS

Games Workshop announces that profits in respect of the year ended 31 May 2009 are likely to be ahead of market expectations.

On 17 April 2009 Games Workshop reported in its Interim Management Statement that trading in the four months to 5 April 2009 had been broadly in line with market expectations. In the event, the Group enjoyed better than expected trading in the core business in the months of April and May, giving rise to a corresponding improvement in gross margin and profits.

Meanwhile, trading conditions have remained challenging internationally particularly for independent retailers. The Board expects to announce the Group's preliminary results on 28 July 2009.
