Board Appointment

Gable Holdings (AIM: GAH.L), the European non-life insurance company, announces that at the Company's Annual General Meeting ("AGM") being held today the following statement will be made by William Dewsall, Chief Executive:

Trading Update

The Company's trading results in the year-to-date are fully in line with market expectations and the Company expects to achieve another year of significant profit growth.

The management team has been strengthened considerably in recent weeks to provide a resilient platform of financial control as the board anticipates further substantial growth in the Company's pan-European insurance business.

The Company is also pleased to announce that in addition to the recent new business win which will see Gable provide commercial combined insurance to Gifi, one of the largest supermarket chains in France, it has now also secured the position as underwriter of financial surety insurance to the retailers of the Italian government backed lottery, with anticipated annual gross premiums of Euro 7 million.

The Company expects to announce its half year results for the 6 months ended 30 June 2013 in September 2013.

Board Appointment

As announced on 28 June 2013, I am delighted to confirm the appointment of Michael Sofaer as Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect. Michael Sofaer joined the Board in February 2012 as Non-Executive Director. He founded Sofaer Capital in Hong Kong in 1986, which was the first hedge fund management company to be launched in Asia. He launched Sofaer Capital Global Hedge Fund in 1987 and the Sofaer Capital Asian Hedge Fund in 1989, operating with highly experienced Asian, European and global investment management teams. Prior to this he was a securities analyst with Schroders Investment Management in London and head of research in Hong Kong.

In addition, subsequent to the announcement on 28 June 2013, the Company has identified candidates for both the position of Group Finance Director and an additional Non-Executive Director and will make further announcements in due course.
