Grant of Option

Filtronic announces that an option over 175,000 Ordinary Shares of 0.10 pence each was granted on 14th August 2014 under the Company's Employee Share Option Plan (ESOP) to Rob Smith who joined the Board as Chief Financial Officer on 16th June 2014.

The exercise price of the option granted is 25.75p per Ordinary Share. Share price linked performance criteria and a three year service condition must be met in order for the option to become exercisable. The option can be exercised (subject to vesting, performance and other conditions being met) for a period of 10 years from 14th August 2014.

Following this grant, Rob Smith holds an option over 175,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.2% of the Company's issued share capital and holds 12,202 shares in the Company representing 0.013% of the share capital of the Company.
