Fisher (James) & Sons PLC11 April 2005 James Fisher and Sons PLC ("the Company") Director Shareholding The Company was notified on 8 April 2005 that Mr M J Shields a director of theCompany, had exercised options over 65,000 ordinary shares with an exerciseprice of 122p and sold on the same day 65,000 ordinary shares at a price of313p. Following these transactions Mr. Shields beneficial interest in the Company'sissued ordinary share capital remains at 166,256 Ordinary Shares representing0.34 per cent of the Company's total issued Ordinary Share Capital. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange and UK Listing Authorityfor 75,000 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the Official List. Admission isexpected to occur on 14 April 2005.
