Director change

Foresight Solar, the fund investing in solar and battery storage assets to build income and growth, announces Chris Ambler has retired from the board and stepped down as senior independent director (SID) with effect from the conclusion of today's Annual General Meeting.

The move is part of FSFL's succession plan and, as previously outlined, Paul Masterton takes over as SID with immediate effect. Mr Masterton was appointed an independent non-executive director (NED) on 21 November 2024. He has nearly 20 years' experience as a NED and chair covering finance, infrastructure, property development and insurance, including a decade with 3i Infrastructure.

Alex Ohlsson, Chair of Foresight Solar, said: "Today was Chris Ambler's last day as a non-executive director of FSFL. As previously announced, he has stepped down after many years of service. I would like to thank Chris for his valuable contribution and wish him well in his endeavours. Paul Masterton has been appointed senior independent director and brings with him a wealth of infrastructure and investment trust experience.

"The other element of the succession plan announced earlier this year is the intention for Tony Roper to take over as chair in September, when I will step down from the board. In preparation for that, the directors and I are focused on providing continuity and ensuring a smooth handover of responsibilities."
