Battery portfolio update

Foresight Solar, the fund investing in solar and battery storage assets to build income and growth, announces it has exchanged contracts for the sale of its 50% stake in Lunanhead, a 50MW battery storage (BESS) asset located in Perthshire, Scotland. The project was jointly owned with Foresight Environmental Infrastructure Fund (FGEN) and has been sold to a third-party buyer at a price in line with the 30 June 2025 carrying value. The deal is expected to complete later this quarter.

The Investment Manager is exploring options for Clayfords, another 50MW BESS project in which FSFL holds a 50% stake. In line with the Company's capital allocation strategy, the Board has been assessing developing the project against alternative options to maximise shareholder returns, such as share buybacks or debt repayment.

The Company is also pleased to announce that Sandridge BESS, a 50MW battery storage project in Wiltshire it also co-owns with FGEN, has been energised. The site will now begin final commissioning and testing, with commercial operations expected shortly thereafter.
