Falkland Oil and Gas Limited ("FOGL") - Recommended Combination with Desire Petroleum plc
Falkland Islands Holdings plc the AIM quoted international group which owns essential services businesses focused on retail, transport and logistics and which has approximately a 4% shareholding in Falkland Oil and Gas Limited ("FOGL Shareholding") draws shareholders' attention to the announcement by FOGL of a Recommended Combination with Desire Petroleum plc ("Transaction"). The Board of FIH supports the Transaction and an irrevocable undertaking has been given to vote its FOGL shareholding in favour of the resolutions required to effect the Transaction.
