Frontier Mining Ltd18 April 2007 Frontier Mining Ltd ("Frontier" or "the Company") Baltemir License Extension Approved Frontier Mining Ltd is pleased to announce that the Ministry of Energy andMineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan has approved a two yearexploration extension for the evaluation of a commercial discovery at Frontier'sBaltemir License, Kazakhstan. The exploration license is now valid until 05March 2009. Baltemir is situated about 56km east of Frontier's producing gold mine,Naimanjal. The License covers an area of 154km2 and is held by Frontier'swholly owned subsidiary, Baltemir LLP. So far, the Baltemir explorationprogramme overseen by Behre Dolbear has identified the potential for a smallgold resource of narrow high grade vein material at West Baltemir occurringwithin a zone 1km wide and 7km long. To date, twenty-five core holes totalling1,941 metres have been drilled at various locations along this quartz veinsystem. Behre Dolbear has recommended a limited three phase exploration programme totest the potential of three key targets. The exploration programme includes 70trenches totalling 1,050 metres, 35 core holes totalling 1,420 metres, andfinally, metallurgical test work.
