Frenkel Topping Group plc (AIM: FEN) is pleased to announce that Stephen Bentley will be joining the Board of Frenkel Topping as Chief Financial Officer of the Company once his approval by the FCA has been granted, likely to be in early September this year. Stephen replaces Julie Dean, who has left the Company with immediate effect. Mrs. Dean was appointed as Finance Director of the Company in 2006 and has served on the Board since that time. The Board would like to thank Mrs Dean for her service over the years.

Mr Bentley has over 30 years of senior / board level experience as a finance director of public and private companies, having served companies across an array of sectors. Since March 2009, Mr Bentley has held the role of Group Finance Director of Jade Equity Limited, an industrial textile manufacturer operating throughout Europe and the USA. Prior to that, Mr Bentley spent more than 10 years at Brunner Mond Group PLC, where he served as the Group Finance Director. He was involved in the company's flotation on the London Stock Exchange and in its subsequent take private process. In 2006, he supported the sale of the business to Tata Chemicals for a value of £190m. Mr Bentley is FCA-qualified, having completed his articles with Whinney Murray & Co. (now Ernst & Young).
