Director's Shareholding Notification
The Board of First Derivatives announces that Mr. Brian Conlon, Chief Executive Officer and founder shareholder, has today notified the Company that has he sold a total of 869,706 ordinary shares (representing approximately 5.5 per cent of the Company's issued share capital).
Ishtara Consulting Limited, a company of which Non-executive Director Mr. Paul Kinney is also a director, and in which he has a beneficial interest, has acquired 764,706 ordinary shares. The remaining 105,000 ordinary shares have been placed with institutional investors. The shares were placed at a price of 415 pence per share.
Ishtara Consulting Limited has worked with First Derivatives since early 2008 with Mr Kinney joining the Board in May 2008. The expertise brought in establishing a global advisory practice has assisted the Company directly with the ongoing international expansion of its business. Following this investment by Ishtara Consulting Limited, Mr. Kinney has a beneficial interest in 1,000,000 ordinary shares, being 6.3 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
Following the placing Mr. Conlon has a beneficial holding of 7,853,953 ordinary shares being 49.6 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
