Requisition Withdrawal

13 March 2013 - Exillon Energy plc "Exillon"  (EXI.LN), a London Premium listed independent oil producer with assets in two oil-rich regions of northern Russia, Timan-Pechora and West Siberia, is pleased to note the withdrawal of the EGM requisition by Worldview Capital Management ("Worldview"), the manager of a Cayman-registered fund which beneficially owns a stake in Exillon.

Shareholders controlling over 50% of Exillon's issued share capital had already advised the Board that they intended to vote against the Requisition Resolutions. Proxy votes have already been received in respect of approximately 53 million shares of which 99.7% have voted against Worldview's proposals.

In light of Worldview's withdrawal of its requisition and all of its associated proposals in relation to changes to the Board, the Company intends to seek an adjournment of the meeting indefinitely.
