Energy Technique PLC22 February 2005 French landmark deal as sales increase 31% Energy Technique plc ("The Company") has signed a landmark agreement for thedistribution of its Diffusion Air Treatment range of products in France. The Company's Diffusion Air Conditioning division has also achieved a 31%increase in sales in the 12 month period to January 31. Chairman Gerard Thompson said, "These key developments represent the start ofthe breakthroughs we have been working for. They are crucial early steps in therepositioning of the company instituted when I took over as Chairman lastOctober. In particular, we look forward to a long and successful relationshipwith our new French partners." The French agreement has been reached with Creactif System SA, based in Rennesand St Brieuc in western France and the leading regional technical advisor anddistributor of specialty air treatment products to the food service industry,schools, clinics and hospitals. Creactif will distribute Energy Technique's Nightingale air purifier, the NQClarifier, and the NQ500. Also as part of the agreement, Creactif willdistribute The Company's Diffusion heating product range. The Diffusion Air Conditioning ("AC") business is based in Basingstoke, Hants,and has become one of the UK's leading distributors of products manufactured byClivet, Panasonic, LG and Fujitsu. To accommodate the larger sales volumes,Diffusion AC recently moved into larger warehouse and office premises, virtuallydoubling its capacity.
