Everyman Media Group plc is pleased to announce that it has appointed Alex Scrimgeour to the role of Chief Executive Officer with effect from 18 January 2021.

Alex has extensive experience working in the leisure sector having established Côte Restaurant as both a reliable, consistent multi-site restaurant, as well as a respected and admired brand. As CEO of Côte Restaurant for the past five years, Alex was responsible for achieving significant growth whilst navigating difficult market conditions. Alex's focus on strategy and innovation, as well as his ability to establish a highly motivated workforce, enabled Côte Restaurant to scale-up its operations and outperform the market.

Alongside driving growth, Alex has a detailed understanding of the importance of innovation and demonstrable ability in addressing customer needs in a modern and ever-evolving leisure market. Illustrating this, Alex founded and launched Côte Restaurant's e-commerce brand 'Côte at Home', a business providing customers with a dining experience they can enjoy in the comfort of their home.

The following details in relation to the appointment of Mr Alexander (Alex) Rupert Gauvain Scrimgeour (aged 49) are disclosed in accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules:

Cote Restaurants Limited was placed in administration on 28 September 2020 and Tasty Topco (Jersey) Limited is expected to be placed into administration shortly. The administrative process in relation to these companies, and their subsidiaries which are listed above, remains ongoing as at the date of this announcement. The administration followed a cessation of trade as the companies were unable to meet creditor obligations caused by the impact of COVID-19.

There is no further information to be disclosed in relation to Alex Scrimgeour's appointment pursuant to AIM Rule 17 or paragraph (g) of Schedule Two of the AIM Rules for Companies.
