The payment of dividends for the financial year 2015 by Societatea Energetică Electrica S.A. 

Societatea Energetică Electrica S.A. (Electrica or the Company) informs its shareholders that, following the resolution of the ordinary general meeting of the shareholders dated 27 April 2016, it will pay of the dividends for the financial year 2015 through Depozitarul Central S.A. and the payment agent BRD - Groupe Société Générale S.A., starting with 18 July 2016, to Electrica's shareholders registered in the Shareholders' Registry kept by Depozitarul Central S.A. on the registration date of 12 July 2016.

The value of the gross dividend is RON 0.8600 per share, and the applicable dividend tax will be deducted prior to payment, within the legal rates, as the case may be.

Details concerning the payment methods of the dividends are presented in the document annexed to this report (Announcement regarding the 2015 dividends payment methods), as well as on Electrica's website www.electrica.ro, Investors > Shares and Shareholders > Dividends section. The notice regarding the payment methods of the dividends for the year 2015 was also published in the newspaper Bursa on 22 June 2016 (no. 118).
