EKF Diagnostics Holdings plc (AIM: EKF), the AIM-listed global diagnostics business, announces that it has purchased a total of 60,000 of its ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a weighted average price of 25.0 pence per share. The purchased shares will be cancelled.

Total voting rights
Following the purchase and after the cancellation of the shares becomes effective, the Company's total issued share capital will consist of 430,273,112 Ordinary Shares. There are no shares held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of Ordinary Shares carrying voting rights will be 430,273,112. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
