Capital Reduction Approved
Elegant Hotels Group plc (the "Company") announces that the High Court of Justice in England and Wales has made an order confirming the reduction of the Company's share premium account (the "Capital Reduction") under section 648 of the Companies Act 2006. Details of the Capital Reduction were set out in the circular to shareholders dated 30 June 2015 and the proposal was approved by shareholders at a general meeting held on 23 July 2015. The order of the Court was filed with Companies House on 14 August 2015, and the Capital Reduction will become effective upon registration, which is expected to occur within approximately one week of the filing.
The Capital Reduction has been effected in order to create distributable reserves to facilitate the payment of dividends for the current year.
