VAALCO ENERGY, INC. DECLARES THIRD QUARTER 2025 DIVIDEND

HOUSTON - August 8, 2025 - Vaalco Energy, Inc. (NYSE: EGY; LSE: EGY) ("Vaalco" or the "Company") today announced that it declared its quarterly cash dividend of $0.0625 per share of common stock for the third quarter of 2025 ($0.25 annualized), which is payable on September 19, 2025, to stockholders of record at the close of business on August 22, 2025. Future declarations of quarterly dividends and the establishment of future record and payment dates are subject to approval by the Board of Directors.

George Maxwell, Vaalco's Chief Executive Officer, commented, "We are pleased to announce our third quarter 2025 dividend, marking our 15th consecutive quarterly dividend. Maintaining a meaningful dividend remains our priority despite weaker commodity prices. We are investing in an exciting capital program over the next 18 months that is expected to provide growth in production and revenue that should allow us to continue to provide significant returns to our shareholders for years into the future."
