STATEMENT

Cairo, May 8th, 2014: EFG Hermes announces the sale of an additional stake in Six of October Development and Investment Company 'SODIC', representing 3.8% of SODIC's outstanding shares, through its subsidiary October Property Development Limited "OPD".

This completes the divestment of shares owned by OPD and concludes EFG Hermes interest through its subsidiary (OPD). Following the sale, EFG Hermes will continue to hold a 4.7% stake in SODIC.
