Noricum Gold Limited ('Noricum Gold' or 'the Company')

Raises Additional £70,000 to Develop Highly Prospective Austrian Gold and Precious Metals Portfolio

Noricum Gold Limited, the Austrian focussed gold exploration and development company, announces that further to the announcement made on 2 December, it has raised an additional £70,000 by way of a placing of a further 2,800,000 new ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ('the Placing Shares'), with an existing shareholder and two Directors of the Company at a price of 2.5 pence per Placing Share ('the Placing'). This brings the total raised under the Placing to £750,000.

Noricum Gold Chairman Marcus Edwards-Jones and Managing Director Greg Kuenzel have both purchased 400,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 2.5 pence per share. Following the share purchase, Marcus Edwards-Jones' holding in the Company stands at 1,777,222 Ordinary Shares representing 0.34% of the issued share capital and Greg Kuenzel's holding in the Company stands at 1,222,222 Ordinary Shares representing 0.23% of the issued share capital.

The Placing Shares will, when issued, rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares of the Company. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ('Admission'). It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings in the Placing Shares will commence on 8 December 2011.

As a result of the issue of the Placing Shares and Consultant's Shares the Company issued share capital will be 528,734,156 Ordinary Shares.
