EcoSecurities Group plc11 March 2008 ECOSECURITIES REGISTERS 101st CDM PROJECT Dublin, 11 March 208: EcoSecurities, a leading company in the business ofsourcing, developing and trading carbon credits, has announced the successfulregistration of its 101st Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project, TianjiGroup Line 1 N2O abatement project, which is located in Lucheng City in Shanxiprovince, and has an output of 130,00 tonnes of nitric acid per year. This project is being developed by EcoSecurities and Tianji Coal ChemicalIndustry Group Co. Ltd and utilises a secondary N2O abatement catalysttechnology to reduce N2O emissions which is a strong greenhouse gas (310 timesmore potent than CO2). It is expected that this project will generate around500,000 CERs a year and over 2.5 million CERs through to 2012. In addition tothis project, there are also several other N2O projects currently making theirway through the CDM process.
