Electrocomponents PLC06 August 2007 ELECTROCOMPONENTS PLC ('the Company') Dealings by Directors/PDMRs The Company has been informed that Rupert Soames, a non-executive director ofthe Company has today acquired 5,866 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company. The shares were acquired at a price of 253.50p. Rupert Soames now holds 5,866 shares in the Company, which represents less than0.1% of the issued share capital.
