Exercise of Options and Total Voting Rights
Eckoh plc (AIM:ECK), the global provider of secure payment products and customer contact solutions, today announces that it has applied for 75,000 new ordinary shares in the capital of the Company to be admitted to trading on AIM (the "New Ordinary Shares"), following an exercise of share options by employees.
The options being exercised were granted under the Eckoh plc November 1999 Share Option Scheme in March 2018 and under the Eckoh plc 2017 PSP Share Option award July 2018 and in both cases the number of New Ordinary Shares that ultimately vested was subject to the satisfaction of share price targets, which were comfortably exceeded.
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, with dealings expected to commence on 20 September 2021 ("Admission").
Total Voting Rights
Following Admission, the Company will have a total of 256,151,621 ordinary shares of 0.25p each ("Ordinary Shares") in issue. The number of Ordinary Shares held in treasury is 1,829,206 and, as a result, the Ordinary Shares in issue carrying voting rights will be 254,357,590. Shareholders may use this figure of 254,357,590 Ordinary Shares as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
