Thomson Intermedia PLC17 November 2005 Thomson Intermedia PLC Thomson Intermedia wins exclusive media monitoring access to Trinity Mirror'sregional titles Thomson Intermedia, a leading provider of media intelligence, has secured acontract with Trinity Mirror plc, the UK's largest newspaper publisher, toprovide e-vouching services. 'E-vouchering' or 'online verification' is theelectronic proof of advertising and is supported by the major planning andbuying agencies. This deal will ensure that Thomson Intermedia becomes the only media monitoringcompany with direct access to the vast dataset of Trinity Mirror's regionaltitles. This contract follows recent announcements that Thomson Intermedia hadalso signed similar deals with Northcliffe, Newsquest and Johnston Press. Thomson Intermedia's industry-standard e-vouchering system will sit on thedesktops of media agency teams across the UK and can be extended to provide aplatform for further communication tools between media owners and agencies.
