e2v technologies PLC22 December 2005 22nd December 2005 e2v secures contract wins worth £10.7m e2v technologies announces three key contracts wins worth a total of £10.7m. The contracts span e2v's sensors and electronic tubes businesses. The largest contract, worth £6.1m, is to supply vital defence electronicsubsystems, utilising e2v's electronic tube technology, to the UK Ministry ofDefence. Delivery is required within a 6-month timescale, with opportunities forfurther orders from future contract phases. e2v also won a £1.5m contract to supply sensors for the second tranche of theEurofighter-Typhoon missile approach warning system. The order comes via EADSDeutschland and follows e2v's successful completion of the programme's firsttranche. e2v's third contract win is worth £3.1m and covers the ongoing supply of marineradar electronic tubes and sensor components to Alphatron Electronic Parts BV.Headquartered in Holland, Alphatron is a global distributor for e2v and suppliese2v's marine products to the after-sales market through offices in everycontinent.
