e2v technologies PLC05 January 2007 5 January 2007 e2v technologies plc - Contract Win e2v secures major contract extension for Electronic tubes e2v technologies, a specialist developer and manufacturer of high technology components and sub-systems, announces a €14.4m (£10m) contract award for the supply of electronic tubes to a leading European power supply manufacturer. The contract covers an initial three years with additional orders to be agreed in year three for a further two years. This contract builds on a long-standing partnership between the two companies and represents a doubling of the current level of business. e2v's electronic devices generate Radio Frequency (RF) power and are a key component in the manufacturer's power supplies, which are then incorporated intosystems for Industrial material cutting and welding applications or for industrial surface treatment. Electronic tubes provide enabling technology behind TV broadcast, satellite communications, marine radar and food & industrial processing.
