Board Appointment

Sanjay Saxena, aged 46, has over 20 years of experience in international banking, asset management, insurance and wealth management in Asia and the Middle East markets. Sanjay was a Board member of the AXA joint ventures Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company Limited, India and Bharti AXA Investment Managers Private Limited, Singapore. Previous roles include Regional General Manager of AXA Investment Managers Asia Holdings Private Limited, Regional Head of Business Development at Prudential Asia, Vice President & Business Development Head of GE Capital India Limited and Director & Corporate Banking Head at American Express Bank Limited North & East India.

Commenting on the appointment, Tapaas Chakravarti, Chairman & CEO said:

"We are delighted to welcome Sanjay to the Board. Sanjay brings with him extensive international corporate and board experience in banking, finance, capital markets, marketing, business development and strategic planning. Considering his wide business and market exposure, we are confident that he will make an excellent contribution to the Company."
