DQ Entertainment plc, a leading animation, gaming, live action entertainment production and distribution company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Rashida Adenwala, aged 46, currently the head of Company Affairs and Investor Relations at the Company as an executive director - Finance and Investor Relations with effect from 1 October 2010.

Rashida has extensive experience in legal, corporate affairs, primary & secondary markets, private equity deals, corporate governance, finance & internal audit. She has been associated with DQ Entertainment group since 1989 and is an integral part of DQE's corporate development. Rashida is a graduate in commerce and law and a qualified Company Secretary by profession.

The Company confirms that there are no further disclosures to be made regarding this appointment under Schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM rules.
