AGM Statement

dotdigital Group Plc (AIM:DOTD), the leading provider of intuitive software as a service ("SaaS") and managed services to digital marketing professionals through the 'dotmailer' platform will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 11.30 am today. At the meeting, Frank Beechinor-Collins, the Group's Non-Executive Chairman will make the following statement:

"The Group has seen the positive trading momentum highlighted in the 2017 preliminary results continue into the first half of the new financial year. This progress is in line with management expectations and is driven by strong international sales and growing demand for dotmailer in the ecommerce market. Central to both accessing and serving this growing demand are dotmailer's industry-leading Connectors, which allow platforms to integrate ecommerce data with dotmailer to enhance marketing efforts and drive improved customer engagement.

We continue to strengthen our relationships with key partners including Magento, Shopify and Microsoft Dynamics. Earlier this month, Magento launched the latest version of Magento 2.2.2, the new release incorporates the dotmailer connector in their core code base. This feature positions dotmailer as Magento's preferred partner for marketing automation and allows its global user-base to register for, download and incorporate the dotmailer product into their operations within moments of taking the decision to do so. Magento is recognised as the leading commerce platform for both B2C and B2B industries. Every year Magento handles over $100 bn in gross merchandise volume and has over 250,000 merchants worldwide using its platform.

The Group also continues to execute on its strategy to become a fully integrated omni-channel and conversational commerce service provider. In November we announced the acquisition of the Comapi group of companies, a fast-growing business focused on the omni-channel messaging and cloud communication market. The acquisition also gives dotdigital new exposure to the fast growing Alerts, Reminders and Notifications market.

The integration of Comapi messaging capabilities into the Dotmailer platform is well underway and will be launched at our Annual Summit in the Spring. I am pleased to announce that Comapi has recently won a significant contract, which helps underpin their 2018 revenue expectations.

The Board is very pleased with the Group's current progress and remains confident in achieving its ambitious growth plans."
