AGM STATEMENT
At the Huveaux PLC AGM today, the Chairman, John van Kuffeler, will make the following statement:
"In the first 5 months of 2008, Huveaux PLC has traded significantly ahead of last year. The cost reductions made last year have proved to be effective and our continued emphasis on developing new sources of revenue has resulted in good overall revenue growth. It is particularly encouraging to see a sharp improvement in the results of the Political Division.
Your Board is close to achieving a solution to optimise shareholder value from our French Healthcare business. A further announcement on this is likely to be made in the next few days.
While the Group's trading remains heavily weighted to the second half of the year, the combination of these factors means that Huveaux will have a good first half result and a strong balance sheet to face any economic uncertainties in the second half."
