Issue of Equity
Diurnal Group plc (AIM: DNL), the specialty pharmaceutical company targeting patient needs in chronic endocrine (hormonal) diseases, announces that further to the Directors' dealings announced today, the new Ordinary Shares were issued from the Company's Employee Benefit Trust scheme ('EBT'). 1,786,439 new Ordinary Shares of 0.2 pence per Ordinary Share ('New Ordinary Shares') have been issued to the EBT to facilitate these trades.
Application has been made for admission of the 1,786,439 New Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM, which is anticipated to occur at 8:00am on 24 October 2019 ("Admission"). The New Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares of common stock of the Company. Following Admission, the Company's issued ordinary share capital will consist of 86,425,440 ordinary shares. The Company does not hold any shares in treasury. Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in Diurnal following Admission will be 86,425,440.
The above figure of 86,425,440 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
