Directorate changes

Cronin Group PLC (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Warne as Executive Chairman. Mark brings broad experience in building high growth businesses and commercial engagement, as well as in managing transactions including portfolio company IPOs, financings and M&A. Mark has been working with the Company management team since joining the Board of Directors in a non-executive capacity in September 2015. James Ede-Golightly will continue to serve on the Board as a non-executive director.

In addition the Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Laurence Ede as independent non-executive director. Laurence has been serving in an advisory capacity with the Company since April 2016 and brings specific experience of the chemicals industry to Cronin Group Plc. He was the Managing Director and co-owner of Tocris Bioscience, a company producing chemical compounds for pharmaceutical research, when it was sold to Techne Corporation for £75 million in 2011. Laurence is currently a non-executive director of Ubiquigent Ltd, a drug discovery services company using research tools and chemistry to pursue ubiquitin system-focused drug discovery programmes.

Furthermore, I want to thank James for his a significant contribution to the Board since he joined over three years ago and I look forward to continuing to work with him as the Group seeks to achieve its objectives. I also want to welcome Laurence to the Board. He is highly experienced and has great knowledge of the chemistry and pharmaceutical industry. Working in an advisory capacity, Laurence has already helped us in how we go about addressing the market opportunity available to the Company."
