VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL

In conformity with the DTR 5.6.1 we would like to notify the market of the following:

That as at 31 March 2012 the Company's issued share capital consisted of 101,674,007 ordinary shares of 5 pence each with voting rights.

The total number of voting rights in Derwent London plc, therefore, is 101,674,007. The Company holds no treasury shares.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change of their interest in, Derwent London plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
