Statement re: Audit Process and Operational Update

Amala Foods Plc (LON: DISH), a food technology company, is pleased to provide an update on the audit process and an operational update. The Company is working with its independent auditors to provide the detail and third party verifications required in order to complete the audit process. The Company expects to publish the Annual Financial Report before the end of the month. Upon publication of the Annual Financial Report the Company will make application for the listing to be restored.

Operational Update

The Company has continued to progress its operations. Several restaurants have now undertaken testing of Amala plant-based pepperoni products and have expressed a willingness to incorporate the product into their menus with the first being launched by the end of this month. The Company is also meeting various restaurant groups in the USA in December with a view to secure supply agreements.

The Company remains active in research and development and substantial progress has been made including a significant technical breakthrough in the process of developing a gluten-free range of products.
